Water Color Pencils

Water color pencil art by a 7 year old.

It takes a lot of patience at that age to carefully apply different shading techniques and then blend the colors with a wet brush.

I especially love the imagination with colors and the control while working with the wet brush.
With water color pencils, once you apply water with a paintbrush, the colors start to soften and bleed into one another. There is a very fine line between a marvelous blend and a
terrible washout.

Kudos to the young artist for being patient enough to observe the results and adapt to the outcome!

I admire their control over blending with watercolors.
